About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers in Bowling Green, Ohio. Officers provide customer service, maintain administrative logs, monitor security cameras, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents and emergencies. Available assignments include Rover, involving foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious activity and prevent vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior, and Gate Officer, involving visitor and contractor check-in, vehicle inspections, and access control. Multiple shifts are available.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to meet the physical essential functions of the job, including lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability is a plus.
Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including directions and general business information.
Maintain accurate administrative logs for incident reports, visitor check-ins, and property.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents and emergencies and record incident information for buildings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
As a Rover, conduct foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, and help prevent vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
As a Gate Officer, check in visitors and contractors, inspect vehicles, and control access.
