About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring unarmed Security Officers in Bowling Green, Ohio. Officers provide customer service, maintain administrative logs, monitor security cameras, conduct patrols, and respond to property incidents and emergencies. Available assignments include Rover, involving foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and deter vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity, and Gate Officer, involving visitor check-in, contractor check-in, vehicle inspections, and access control. Multiple shifts are available.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Meet the physical essential functions of the job, which may include lifting more than 50 pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability is a plus.
Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including giving directions and general business information.
Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs for incident reports, visitor check-ins, and property.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents and emergencies and record incident information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
For Rover assignments, conduct foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, and help prevent vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
For Gate Officer assignments, check in visitors and contractors, inspect vehicles, and control access.
