About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Allentown and Lehigh County area. We offer assignments that fit a variety of schedules, whether you are looking for extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. You choose the assignments that work with your availability, including school security, summer camp security, and commercial locations with day, evening, and weekend shifts available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
Nice To Haves
- School and summer camp assignments require the appropriate Pennsylvania school clearances (ChildLine Clearance Act 151, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check Act 34, FBI Fingerprinting Act 114). Non-school opportunities may be available to candidates without school clearances.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated post locations
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, clients, and other personnel
- Report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
