Unarmed Security Officer Flexible Assignments Allentown
About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Allentown and Lehigh County area. This role is ideal for individuals seeking extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. Officers will maintain a visible and professional security presence, monitor entrances and common areas, help maintain a safe environment, respond to incidents, and complete required documentation. Assignments include school security, summer camp security, and commercial locations, with day, evening, and weekend shifts available. Some positions require specific Pennsylvania school clearances, but non-school assignments are also available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
Nice To Haves
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- School and Camp Requirements: Candidates working school or summer camp assignments must be able to obtain: ChildLine Clearance, Act 151 Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check, Act 34 FBI Fingerprinting, Act 114
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated post locations
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, clients, and other personnel
- Report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
