About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Allentown and Lehigh County area. This role is ideal for individuals seeking extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. Officers will maintain a visible and professional security presence, monitor entrances and common areas, help maintain a safe and secure environment, respond to incidents, and complete daily activity reports. The company offers flexible per diem scheduling, allowing officers to pick up shifts that fit their availability, with various assignment types including school security, summer camp security, and commercial locations. Opportunities for day, evening, and weekend shifts are available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment

Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated post locations
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, clients, and other personnel
- Report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
