Security Officer Flexible Part Time Allentown
About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Allentown and Lehigh County area. We offer assignments that fit a variety of schedules, whether you are looking for extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. You choose the assignments that work with your availability. Available assignments include school security during the academic year, summer camp security, commercial and other non-school locations, and day, evening, and weekend shifts. We also have additional assignments based on availability and operational needs. Candidates for school or summer camp assignments must obtain specific Pennsylvania school clearances, but non-school assignments are available that do not require these clearances.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
- Candidates working school or summer camp assignments must be able to obtain: ChildLine Clearance Act 151, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check Act 34, FBI Fingerprinting Act 114

Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated post locations
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, clients, and other personnel
- Report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
