About The Position

Doyle Security Services is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned corporate building, helping protect client property and personnel. The role involves making periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for the majority of the workday. The listed schedules are Saturday–Sunday, 1500–2300, and Friday–Saturday, 2300–0700. Pay is up to USD $19.00 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid New York State Security Guard License.
Must be available to work weekends.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to verbally de-escalate situations.

Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.

Responsibilities

Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
