About The Position
Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, helping protect client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserves order, and may enforce site regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for the majority of the workday. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 0700–1500, and Tuesday and Wednesday, 2300–0700. Pay is up to USD $19.06 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to verbally de-escalate situations.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
- Record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures to complete reports.
- Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
