About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) provides customized security solutions and investigative services, focusing on protecting clients’ people and property. The Unarmed Security Officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned corporate building, helping maintain the security and safety of client property and personnel. The role includes making periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for most of the workday. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800–1600. The pay range is up to USD $22.92 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid New York State Security Guard License.
Must be available to work weekends.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to verbally de-escalate situations.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Complete reports documenting observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
