About The Position

Doyle Security Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a driving post at a cemetery. The officer operates a company vehicle to conduct routine mobile patrols, monitors for suspicious activity, responds promptly to incidents or alarms, and provides a visible security presence to deter potential threats. The role includes maintaining accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicating with supervisors, clients, and local authorities as needed. The officer must follow company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures while maintaining professionalism and providing customer service during interactions. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 1400–2200, and Monday, 0600–1400. Pay is up to $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid New York State Security Guard License.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to understand English and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.
A five- to seven-year U.S. work history may be required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and report activities and incidents at the assigned site to help ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
Conduct mobile patrols and complete scans every thirty minutes.
Maintain order and enforce site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the premises.
Secure the premises by inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities in reports.
Respond promptly to incidents or alarms and communicate with supervisors, clients, and local authorities as necessary.
Complete tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
Follow company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
