About The Position

Doyle Security Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a driving post. The officer operates a company vehicle to conduct routine mobile patrols, monitors for suspicious activity, responds promptly to incidents or alarms, and provides a visible security presence to deter potential threats. The role includes maintaining accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations; communicating with supervisors, clients, and local authorities as necessary; and following company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures. Officers are expected to demonstrate professionalism and customer service during all interactions. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Pay is up to USD $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
A 5–7-year U.S. work history may be required.
Valid New York State Security Guard License.
Valid driver license.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to understand English and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

Monitor and report activities and incidents at the assigned site to help ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
Conduct mobile patrols and complete scans every thirty minutes.
Maintain order and enforce site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the premises.
Secure premises by inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permit entry.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
Respond promptly to incidents or alarms and communicate with supervisors, clients, and local authorities as necessary.
