About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) provides customized security solutions and investigative services, with a focus on protecting clients' people, property, and peace of mind. The Unarmed Security Officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site to help protect client property and personnel. The officer makes periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserves order, and may enforce site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for most of the workday. The schedule is to be determined, and pay is up to USD $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
A 5–7 year U.S. work history may be required.
Class D Florida Security Guard License.
Ability to understand English and Spanish and communicate effectively in both languages, verbally and in writing.
Physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; and obtain signatures.
Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
