About The Position
Austin Country Club is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Agent to protect its members, guests, property, and reputation. The agent serves as a first point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying access, and patrolling the grounds. The role also involves responding calmly to incidents, supporting club events, and coordinating with other departments to help ensure smooth operations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours is required. The work takes place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves standing, walking, and lifting objects exceeding 50 pounds for extended periods. Austin Country Club is a private, family-oriented club founded in 1899 and located on a 180-acre property along the Colorado River, about 10 miles west of downtown Austin. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Texas Level 2 security license.
- At least 5 years of experience in law enforcement, military, public safety, or private security, with honorable discharge.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects exceeding 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
