About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring a Security Guard in Pasadena, Texas. The role involves access control, foot patrols, observing and reporting unusual activity, and helping maintain a safe and professional environment at client facilities. Guards also investigate and report maintenance or safety conditions that could endanger the client, associates, or public; deter theft and vandalism; maintain concise and complete daily documentation; and follow uniform and grooming standards. The position requires use of a company vehicle and passing a DMV check. An active TWIC card and an active Texas Level 2 unarmed security guard license are required. The schedule is either Thursday through Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The employer advertises daily pay, potentially as soon as the next day.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Active Level 2 security license; an active Unarmed Texas security guard license is required.
• Active TWIC card.
• At least 5 years of unarmed security experience.
• Driver's license and ability to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles check.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high-level customer service.
• Able to work morning, swing, or night shifts, and weekends and holidays as needed.
• Customer service experience is preferred; one year is listed as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
