About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in St. Louis, Missouri. The position pays $22.00 and works Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A TWIC card is required; candidates who do not currently have one will be required to obtain one. Applicants must pass a 10-panel drug screening before working on site.

The officer will help provide a safe, professional environment at the client facility through access control, foot patrols, theft and vandalism deterrence, and reporting safety or maintenance concerns. The role also involves keeping administrative documentation complete and concise and maintaining uniform and grooming standards. Daily pay is available, with payment as soon as the next day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Be available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have an active security license.
• Have a TWIC card, or be willing to obtain one.
• Undergo and pass a 10-panel drug screening before working on site.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience.
• One year of security experience.
• Military or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety.
• Conduct assigned foot patrols to maintain visibility and observe unusual activity at client facilities.
• Deter theft and vandalism.
• Help ensure the client, associates, and facility personnel have a safe and professional work environment.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.
