About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Guard in Dallas, Texas. The role is scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2300 to 700 and pays $17.00 per hour. Daily pay is available, with payment as soon as the next day.

The guard helps maintain a safe and professional environment at client facilities through access control, foot patrols, observation, and deterrence of theft and vandalism. The position also involves investigating and reporting safety or maintenance conditions, completing concise and complete daily documentation, and maintaining uniform and grooming standards. Medical, dental, vision, accidental, and life insurance benefits are available to full-time employees after the first 60 days, along with additional insurance options, a 401(k) program, provided uniforms, and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Have a high school education or equivalent.
• Hold an active Guard Card.
• Customer service experience of 1 year is preferred.
• Security experience of 1 year is preferred.
• A driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, associates, or public safety.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activities at client facilities.
• Deter theft and vandalism.
• Help ensure a safe and professional work environment for the client, associates, and facility personnel.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.
