About The Position
The Unarmed Uniformed Security Agent protects people and property from possible criminal activity and helps maintain safe, problem-free facilities. The role involves observing and monitoring premises, identifying suspicious behavior, responding to emergencies, and dealing with suspected perpetrators. The agent should demonstrate strong observation skills, authority, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This position requires extended periods of standing, sitting, and physical activity, including foot patrols and responding quickly to incidents. Duties may involve working in varying weather and low-light conditions, climbing stairs, walking on uneven surfaces, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and physically capturing or detaining individuals when necessary. Requirements
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Security guard training certification required for the specific state.

Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor an assigned area, reporting suspicious activities to local authorities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, inspect property, and monitor crowds.
- Contact law enforcement or the fire department in emergencies.
- After business hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
- Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property.
- Reasonably detain people suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
- Escort discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
