About The Position

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Requirements

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Weekend availability
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets and/or smartphones for reporting
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
Tennessee Unarmed Security License preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct walking (position involves extensive walking) and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
