About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Spokane, Washington, you will safeguard clients and provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role involves following site-specific security procedures, conducting patrols, monitoring access and activity, and responding to incidents in accordance with post orders and escalation procedures. You will document activity and communicate shift information while maintaining a professional, visible presence.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site policies; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
