About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Hainesport, New Jersey, to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics location. The officer will maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, observe and report concerns, support access procedures, and provide customer service and communication. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Mondays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and pays $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site procedures, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
