About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will help safeguard guests, residents, staff, and property. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, respond to security concerns, and support a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and pays $21.50 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to hotel guests, residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, residential corridors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns and assist with directions and general information.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
