Requirements

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid North Carolina Guard Card as required by the state licensing authority
Valid driver’s license and a Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Must be at least 21 years old
Have or ability to obtain CPR/1st AED
Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Must pass a drug test and background check
Customer service experience
Willing to adhere to all client and SEI policies and procedures
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
CPR/First Aid/AED, preferred
PPSB License for North Carolina, preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
