About The Position

Asante’s imaging experts are highly trained, with advanced certifications in imaging specialties. The imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians to interpret test results and provide guidance on complex cases.

The Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer performs a variety of specialized ultrasonic procedures while assisting physicians in diagnosing patients and conducting ultrasound-guided surgical procedures. This is a part-time, 0.8 FTE, first-shift day position at RVI Ambulatory in Grants Pass.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited imaging program.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
• An ARDMS registry in Abdomen and/or Obstetrics/Gynecology, or an ARRT registry in Sonography, must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• A permanent Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in Sonography is required. An OBMI temporary license is acceptable for new hires; the permanent OBMI license and appropriate registry must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• Additional registries from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
