Two-Year-Old Teacher
About The Position
The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is hiring a caring, energetic Two-Year-Old Teacher to support young children as they develop independence, build friendships, and learn through play. The teacher creates a nurturing and engaging classroom environment and implements The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on, age-appropriate activities. The role supports children’s early language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development, while encouraging self-help skills and positive peer interactions. The teacher also guides children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions; maintains a safe, clean, and organized classroom; communicates with families; collaborates with fellow teachers; and follows New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements. This is a full-time position paying $17.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing and background screening requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus.
