About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced preschool teacher for its 2.5-year-old classroom. The teacher will create a positive, engaging, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, grow, and thrive academically and emotionally. The position involves implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a way that reflects each child’s needs, communicating with families about children’s experiences and achievements, collaborating with center staff and leadership, and assisting with potty training. Requirements

At least 6 months of professional childcare experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must meet all Missouri state childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

One year or more of professional teaching experience.
Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming and engaging classroom for young children to learn, play, and grow.
Use a growth mindset to support children’s development and inspire a love of learning.
Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a way that reflects each child’s needs.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s adventures and achievements, including through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with daycare center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Assist with potty training.
