About The Position
This position is for a Tutor for the CHM1311 LAB section 65H during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves giving tutorials, preparing and moderating the CHM Forum on the website, and proctoring a final exam. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will be paid at a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation pay or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Requirements
- Candidate must have 1 full year of general chemistry, 1 full year of organic chemistry, CHM 2120/2123, or their equivalents.
- All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify. (Unless already previously done.)
- Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
