About The Position

Academic Coaches support high school students in a range of Humanities subjects, including AP Literature, AP US History, and AP World History. Test preparation for the ACT, SAT, and ISEE is preferred. Sessions are one-on-one and held in private offices at the facility. Coaches receive recurring weekly sessions within their preferred hours, paid onboarding and training, and shadowing with experienced coaches. The role is W-2 employment and offers a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Excel at explaining academic content in a clear, engaging way.
• Enjoy building relationships and helping students gain confidence.
• Currently attend or have graduated from a two- or four-year university or college.
• Be available at least 15 hours per week, including at least four hours on Sundays.

Nice To Haves

• Test-preparation experience or ability in the ACT, SAT, or ISEE.
