Requirements

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or turndown attendant role in a luxury environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within a timely manner.
  • Respect for guest privacy and discretion when working in guest rooms.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel's operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evening turndown service to guest rooms, ensuring that each room is prepared for a restful night's sleep.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while respecting their privacy and individual preferences.
  • Prepare the room for turndown service, including adjusting curtains, dimming lights, and setting the appropriate ambiance.
  • Turn down the bed, fluff pillows, and place amenities such as chocolates, water, or other requested items.
  • Tidy up the room by organizing personal items, hanging towels, and disposing of any trash or used amenities.
  • Ensure that all guest supplies are replenished, such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
  • Perform a final check to ensure that the room is in perfect condition, addressing any concerns or issues as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team to report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized turndown cart and storage areas.
  • Adhere to established health and safety standards while carrying out duties.
