About The Position

The Turndown Attendant provides evening turndown service to guest rooms at The Maybourne Beverly Hills, preparing each room for a comfortable and restful night while delivering attentive, discreet service. The role supports guest satisfaction by maintaining room presentation, replenishing supplies, responding to guest preferences, and communicating any maintenance needs to the housekeeping team. The attendant is expected to follow health and safety standards and maintain organized carts and storage areas. The position requires a detail-oriented, courteous approach and the ability to work independently and efficiently. Physical duties include standing for extended periods, moving carts and equipment, and bending, squatting, and lifting. The schedule may include evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as hotel operations require.

Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to seven hours.
Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds regularly.
Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
Ability to perform duties requiring grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, visual acuity, and manual dexterity to use necessary equipment.
Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.

Responsibilities

Provide evening turndown service and prepare guest rooms for a restful night's sleep.
Greet guests professionally while respecting their privacy and preferences.
Prepare rooms by adjusting curtains, dimming lights, and setting the appropriate ambiance.
Turn down beds, fluff pillows, and place chocolates, water, or other requested amenities.
Tidy rooms by organizing personal items, hanging towels, and disposing of trash and used amenities.
Replenish guest supplies, including toiletries, towels, and linens.
Perform a final room check and address concerns or issues as needed.
Communicate maintenance or repair needs to the housekeeping team.
Maintain clean and organized turndown carts and storage areas.
Follow established health and safety standards.
