About The Position

This position performs maintenance tasks related to the care, maintenance, protection, and preservation of golf course areas, including greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and surrounding out-of-play areas. Tasks include mowing, seeding, sodding, aerating, topdressing, irrigation repair, hand-watering, spraying, fertilizing, bunker maintenance, and other related duties. Recommendations to improve mowing efficiency and mowing patterns are welcome. Employees are encouraged to play the golf course on Mondays, when the course is closed, and on other special occasions to experience the playability members experience. Schedule: Monday, 6 a.m.–4 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 6 a.m.–12 p.m.; every other weekend, 6 a.m.–10 a.m. Pay: $16–$20.

Requirements

Able to operate equipment safely and understand its intended use.
Be in good physical condition and willing to work outside in inclement weather.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain golf course areas, including greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and surrounding out-of-play areas.
Perform mowing, seeding, sodding, aerating, and topdressing.
Repair irrigation systems and hand-water areas as needed.
Spray and fertilize turf and maintain bunkers.
Perform other related golf course maintenance tasks.
Offer recommendations for improving mowing efficiency and patterns.
