About The Position

HiFyve is hiring a full-time, shop-based Turf and Tractor Technician in Greensboro, North Carolina. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain turf care equipment, compact tractors, utility vehicles, and related outdoor power equipment. The role is suited to someone with hands-on experience repairing agricultural or turf equipment who takes pride in quality work and customer service. The salary is $22–$35 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a shop environment and handle physical tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Technical training in small engine, diesel, or equipment technology.
Experience repairing turf, agricultural, or compact equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair turf equipment, compact tractors, utility vehicles, and outdoor power equipment.
Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on equipment.
Complete quality assurance testing after repairs.
Complete work orders, service reports, and parts orders accurately and on time.
Identify and order required parts using internal parts management systems.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop work area.
Communicate repair status to service management and customers.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
