About The Position

The Tufting Operator is responsible for operating the Stratatec Tufting Machine, monitoring carpet quality, and recording production and downtime during their shift. This role requires working effectively in a team environment, the ability to mend, and adherence to WCM Philosophies. The operator will also be responsible for running knots efficiently, changing backing, making out roll tickets, doffing rolls, and maintaining housekeeping of their work area. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to bend, pull, and lift
• Ability to see and thread multiple colors
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math
• Knowledge of air splicer
• Ability to understand graphic patterns
• Ability to tie weaver's knot

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Prior experience operating a tufting machine with all ends controlled by servos
