About The Position

Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join their team. The technician will perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing issues to maximize customer uptime. They will receive comprehensive dealer-supported education and training while working alongside experienced technicians, developing practical skills in maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.

Requirements

Working knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks.
One or more years of experience working on vehicles.
Applicants with a Diesel Tech Degree will be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and make necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Support customers by maximizing their uptime.
Develop skills and experience as a Technician.
Receive comprehensive dealer-supported education and training.
Work side by side with experienced, senior-level technicians.
Develop practical skills in maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.
