Entry Truck Technician / Mechanic - Swing Shift
About The Position
Pape’ Kenworth is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join their team. This role involves performing basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, including troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. The goal is to support customers by maximizing their uptime and to help the technician build their skills and experience. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals eager to start a career in the diesel and heavy truck industry, offering comprehensive dealer-supported education and training while working alongside experienced technicians. Hands-on experience will be gained in maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and related equipment, providing a strong foundation for long-term growth.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks.
- One or more years of experience working on vehicles.
- Alternatively, applicants with a Diesel Tech Degree in lieu of experience will be considered.
