About The Position

The Truck Team Member works with a teammate in a branded 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck to remove unwanted items from residential and commercial locations throughout Baltimore. The role involves customer service, physical handling and sorting of collected materials, and coordination with dispatch. Shifts may begin from an approved remote location when available. Average total earnings are $24–$28 per hour, including base pay, profit share, and tips. The employer provides paid hands-on training and a uniform, and offers team activities and opportunities to advance into leadership and operations roles.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of three years.
• Reliable, upbeat, and motivated.
• Comfortable speaking with customers.
• Enjoys working as part of a two-person team.
• Able to perform physical work and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a teammate in a branded 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck.
• Travel to residential and commercial locations throughout Baltimore.
• Safely lift, carry, and load items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Sort collected materials for donation, recycling, or disposal.
• Keep approved items collected from customer jobs.
• Provide courteous, professional service at every appointment.
• Coordinate with dispatch to stay on schedule.
• Begin shifts from an approved remote location when available.
