About The Position

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring full-time Route Drivers and General Labor team members. The role starts each shift at the Clinton location, where employees team up with fellow drivers and take on the day’s service routes. Employees drive the company’s blue trucks, provide quotes, remove unwanted items, deliver customer-focused junk removal services, and responsibly direct items to recycling, donation, and waste management channels. The position is physically active and sales-driven, with average earnings of $24–$28 per hour, including hourly pay, tips, and bonuses. Pay is weekly.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old, or close to turning 21, for insurance purposes.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the last three years, or close to meeting that requirement.
Positive, friendly demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with metrics and goals.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Start each shift at the Clinton location and work with fellow drivers on the day’s service routes.
Drive company trucks to customers and provide junk removal services.
Provide quotes and remove unwanted items weighing 50 pounds or more.
Use customer service skills to improve the customer experience and help achieve daily goals.
Responsibly dispose of items through recycling, donation, and waste management channels.
Build strong client relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
