Truck Mechanic
About The Position
Qualified Diesel Truck Mechanics are needed for a busy, clean, polished, and equipped truck shop in Fort Myers, Florida. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment while integrating into an established, team-oriented shop. Diagnostic and internal engine experience is preferred. Compensation starts at $35.00–$55.00 per hour, based on experience and training, with hourly and flat-rate options available. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No overtime is required, and work-life balance is highly respected.
Requirements
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and related systems.
- Knowledge of diesel truck and trailer makes and systems, including engines, air conditioning, electrical, exhaust, brakes, and axles.
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Diagnostic experience.
- Internal engine experience.
- Experience with Hino, Ottawa Trucks, East, Pitts and Dorsey Trailers, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Cummins, Detroit, and similar makes.
