About The Position

The Truck Gate Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role includes observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site to protect client property and personnel, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary. Training is provided for an introduction to a career in security. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The position requires passing a drug screen and background check and meeting applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
