About The Position

The Security Officer - Truck Gate helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring the premises, patrolling locations, securing buildings, and monitoring cameras. The role observes and reports activities and incidents at the assigned client site, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The position pays $17.76 per hour and is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. It requires walking a minimum of three miles per shift. CPR/FA/AED certification is required, or the employee must be willing to obtain it. A valid Michigan driver’s license and clean driving record are required. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The position is described as available full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Have, or be willing to obtain, CPR/FA/AED certification.
Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
Ability to walk a minimum of three miles per shift.
No experience is necessary; training is provided.
