About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time security officer for a site in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on observing security systems and activity, identifying suspicious behavior or potential threats, responding to incidents, and helping protect people and property. Duties also include documenting events, conducting patrols, controlling access, verifying visitor identities, assessing security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.38. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.
