About The Position

The Truck Gate Officer maintains a safe environment by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. The role involves controlling entrances and managing traffic, patrolling buildings and surrounding areas, escorting personnel and materials, conducting security and fire-exposure inspections, completing daily activity and incident reports, responding to alarms and emergencies, and communicating daily with supervisors. The successful candidate is vigilant, disciplined, observant, professional, calm under pressure, reliable, customer-service oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Valid, current California BSIS Guard Card in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Completion of required 40-hour BSIS training, including proof of certification.
• Resume detailing relevant work experience and qualifications.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if applicable.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to follow post orders, SOPs, and company policies.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Vigilance, discipline, and observance.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Reliability and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.
