About The Position

Walmart is hiring a regional over-the-road truck driver based at its Hope Mills, North Carolina facility. Requirements

Hold an Interstate Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a Hazmat endorsement and cleared background check, or obtain the endorsement and clear the background check within 120 calendar days of hire.
Have at least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the previous three years, or successfully complete the Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program.
Have no more than two moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
Have no serious traffic violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
Have no preventable collision while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
Have no preventable DOT-recordable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten years.
Have no preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in personal or commercial driving history.
Live within 250 miles of the assigned facility, or establish a permanent residence within that distance within 90 days of hire or transfer; maintaining that residence is a condition of employment.
