About The Position

Regional truck drivers at Walmart plan their day, set priorities, and work with their team to keep freight moving safely and on time. Drivers communicate clearly, solve problems, adapt to changes, and handle all required paperwork and electronic logs while following DOT, state, and company guidelines. The role involves operating a tractor-trailer safely, conducting inspections, and running optimized routes to reduce delays and improve on-time performance while upholding high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism.

Requirements

• Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 120 days)
• Cleared background check
• Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the last 3 years
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 10 years
• No preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or establish residence within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Plan daily tasks and set priorities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer
