OTR Truck Driver
About The Position
Yankee Freight Systems is hiring solo OTR drivers for routes operating across the 48 states, excluding New York City. Drivers haul clean, food-grade products in dry vans; freight is 100% no-touch, with live loads and no hazardous-material or refrigerated loads. The company guarantees long miles of 3,000 or more weekly and advertises earnings of up to 75 cents per mile. Drivers are paid as 1099 contractors. Layover, detention, and extra-stop pay are available. The company says it values drivers’ home-time needs and will try to accommodate requests made on time. Owner-operators are also welcome, and lease and lease-to-buy programs are available.
