About The Position

Walmart is hiring a regional truck driver based at its Brooksville, Florida facility. Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year and receive weekly home time with consecutive days off each week. Freight deliveries are no-touch. Drivers are paid a fixed rate for each mile driven, with additional activity pay for certain duties and circumstances; some activities are paid at both the mileage rate and an activity rate. The listed regional mileage rate is $0.55–$0.69 per mile, with an average annual mileage range of 62,355–196,040. Actual pay may vary by location and miles driven. Average Daily Pay is $240 per day in specified circumstances. Drivers plan and prioritize their work, coordinate with their team, and adapt to road or plan changes while keeping freight moving safely and on time. They accurately complete required paperwork and electronic logs, comply with DOT, state, and company requirements, safely operate and inspect their tractor-trailer, and follow traffic laws and local restrictions on optimized routes. The role requires meeting Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism standards. They must have at least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the previous three years, or successfully complete Walmart’s Fleet Development Academy Program.
