About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Middletown, Ohio. The position is a solo regional driving role delivering to Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky, with two to three layovers per week. Drivers operate a sleeper tractor with a manual transmission and a liquid tanker trailer. Freight is no-touch, though drivers connect hoses and pressurize the trailer with assistance. A tanker endorsement is required; hazmat is preferred, and Ryder will provide training and assistance to obtain it. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Sunday dispatch, and start times range from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The role offers weekly pay, averaging $2,600 per week, and paid training. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, PTO accruing from the first day, allowances for uniforms, a cell phone, and boots, access to a 401(k) rollover and company match after one year, paid maternity leave subject to eligibility criteria, and employee discounts.
