About The Position

This role is responsible for washing trolleys, rods, and rod baskets, ensuring adherence to GMP and USDA guidelines. The position requires proper completion of paperwork, participation in training documentation development, and support of various Continuous Process Improvement (CPS) activities. The job involves handling chemicals, performing SAP documentation, and adhering to all PPE guidelines for the Trolley Wash area. It is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, good math and reading comprehension skills, and the ability to work in steamy, wet, and humid environments.

Requirements

Good math skills necessary for the tracking of the different blends.
Good reading comprehensive and the ability to follow blend requirements.
Most tasks require bending, lifting, working in steamy areas, pushing, pulling and reaching.
Ability to lift a smoke stick product (up to 35 lbs) 4 feet high onto the rack.
Ability to work in a continually wet area.
Ability to work in a humid area.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Safety is the #1 responsibility.
Follow all GMP’s and USDA guidelines.
Properly complete required paperwork on a daily basis per Quality guidelines.
Participate in the development, implementation and sustaining (CSD) of training documentation for all team members.
Support CPS activities to include but not limited to: Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, CIL, Centerline, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team Participation, and CSD etc.
Responsible for any other tasks/duties as directed by your Supervisor/Line Lead/Cell Lead.
SAP documentation.
Adhere to all PPE guidelines for the Trolley Wash area.
Responsible for appropriately mixing trolley wash chemicals.
Responsible for washing trolleys, rods and rod baskets.
