About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts is seeking a Tree Care Crew Leader to join its safety-focused team in Cranberry TWP. The Crew Leader performs and oversees tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties, working alongside the crew and managing daily job-site execution. This customer-facing role involves representing the company, communicating professionally with clients and coworkers, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in keeping with the company's culture.

Requirements

Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices.
At least 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
Ability to climb and navigate trees safely and efficiently.
Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper care techniques.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining tree care equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make informed decisions on the job.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform and delegate tree care operations at residential and commercial properties.
Safely operate Spyder lifts, bucket lifts, loaders, and various saws to prune, remove, or manage the growth of trees and shrubs.
Monitor and maintain assigned equipment.
Communicate with clients during services to ensure their satisfaction.
Perform arboriculture work including tree risk assessment, pruning, removal, cabling, and bracing.
Learn, understand, and implement company safety rules and regulations.
Oversee daily job-site execution while working alongside the crew.
