About The Position

LSI is seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Leader to perform tree care operations, including tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, and emergency storm work. The Crew Leader leads a crew safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The role involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license; a CDL is a plus.
• Previous experience in tree care and crew supervision.
• Ability to safely operate tree equipment and commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of tree removal, pruning techniques, rigging, and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• CDL.
• Experience with bucket operations, chippers, and stump grinders.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and stump grinding.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, loaders, and other tree equipment.
• Ensure work is completed safely and according to company standards.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, customers, and crew members.
• Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections.
• Follow ANSI, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
• Train and mentor crew members on safe work practices.
