About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts is hiring a Tree Care Crew Leader for its North Dallas team. The role is a customer-facing position responsible for performing and overseeing tree and shrub care services at residential and commercial properties. The Crew Leader works alongside the Tree Crew, delegates work, and oversees daily job-site execution to ensure services are completed safely, efficiently, and in keeping with the company’s culture. The position involves communicating professionally with homeowners, property managers, sales arborists, and crew members, and representing Joshua Tree Experts on job sites.

Requirements

Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices.
At least 5 years of tree care experience, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
Strong ability to climb and navigate trees safely and efficiently.
Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper care techniques.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining tree care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to make informed decisions on the job.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform and delegate tree care operations at residential and commercial properties.
Safely operate Spyder lifts, bucket lifts, loaders, and various saws to prune, remove, or manage the growth of trees and shrubs.
Monitor and maintain assigned equipment.
Communicate with clients while completing services to ensure satisfaction.
Perform arboriculture work involving tree risk assessment, pruning, removals, cabling, and bracing.
Learn, understand, and implement company safety rules and regulations.
Oversee daily job-site execution while working alongside the crew.
