Requirements

  • Basic math skills are essential.
  • Must be medically able to wear a full-face respirator.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to set priorities and analyze problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in a chemical treatment or similar industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of SHE policies and hazardous waste handling.
  • Certification in confined space entry.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the transfer deck, load charges, and receive chemicals.
  • Enter material and treatment requirements into the computer system.
  • Monitor and mix chemicals to achieve the required concentrations.
  • Maintain records for all treated materials.
  • Ensure the final product meets customer specifications.
  • Communicate daily with Quality Control (QC) regarding treatment results.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
  • Ensure all tasks abide by SHE policies.
  • Handle and store hazardous waste properly.
  • Enter confined spaces to assist with repairs and cleaning.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose and repair plant issues.
  • Perform other duties as required to maintain the facility's operations.
  • Be able to obtain a pesticide license.
